Privacy Policy

ryankhalil.com is Ryan Khalil’s personal website. It is run for him by LMKdev, a division of LMK Management LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains the little information this site handles and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Nothing you type. This site has no forms, no accounts, no comments and no newsletter sign-up. If you email us, we receive what you send (your address and message) in our inbox and use it only to reply.

Standard request data. Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical data when your browser loads a page: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver the page and keep the site secure.

Cookieless page counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and gives us only aggregate numbers (for example, how many people opened the home page today).

Fonts. Pages load a typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details under Google’s privacy policy.

2. Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no advertising or tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner.

3. How we use and share information

We use the information above only to run, secure and understand this site, and to answer your email. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us (Vercel for hosting and analytics; Google Workspace for our inbox; Google Fonts for the typeface — all in the United States), with authorities when the law requires it, or with a successor if the site changes hands.

4. Your privacy choices

There is nothing to opt out of: we don’t sell or share personal information or use it for targeted ads. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as an opt-out of sale and sharing anyway (see /.well-known/gpc.json).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the CCPA/CPRA and the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To exercise any right, email privacy@lmkdev.com. We will verify the request (usually by replying to the address you wrote from) and respond within one month (EU/UK) or 45 days (US states), and tell you if we need longer. You may use an authorized agent. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

6. Retention

Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short period for security, then deleted. Aggregate page counts contain no personal information. Emails are kept as long as needed to answer you and for our records, then deleted.

7. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Found a vulnerability? Email security@lmkdev.com (see security.txt).

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International visitors

We operate in the United States, and information is processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those where you live.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the dates at the top. We review it at least once a year.
